
Cody Tinnin is a talented multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and producer based in Durango, Colorado. Best known for his work as the bassist and vocalist of the progressive string trio Stillhouse Junkies, Cody has helped shape the band’s unique sound, blending bluegrass, blues, and swing influences. His deep connection to roots music extends beyond the trio, as he also plays bass for Kristy Cox and Grasstime Bluegrass Band, further showcasing his versatility in the acoustic music world.
In 2021, Cody released his solo album Perennial, a deeply personal project highlighting his skill as an old-time banjo player and his rich, expressive vocals. His music draws inspiration from the traditions of Appalachian string bands while incorporating a modern, dynamic approach to arrangement and songwriting. Whether on stage or in the studio, Cody brings authenticity, passion, and technical prowess to his performances, making him a sought-after collaborator and an inspiring artist in contemporary roots music.
