***SOLD*** Custom Wonder – Builder’s Choice #3168

When we released the Pisgah Wonder model in 2018, it really hit home with banjo historians and collectors as a very close representation of banjos being produced around the turn of the century, something currently not being done by production banjo shops. With its dowel stick construction, reproduction “Little Wonder” tone ring and its historic aesthetics, the Wonder has been a go to favorite for Pisgah customers for years. This one in particular has been played since July by Patrick Sawyer, Owner/Founder of PBCO who famously doesn’t build a banjo for himself. He plays ones that are not spoken for and sometimes takes one home that he particularly likes. Alas, its time for this Wonder to move on to its forever home and the right customer. Note that there is some very light player’s ware on the head and fretboard but rest assured, this one has gone though the most rigorous and ultimate inspection by Patrick himself, taking it to his weekly old-time jam for the past few months.
